[03Jun07] Dubai Police issuing fines by mobile application |

Dubai Police deployed a mobile application powered by Vipera to issue traffic tickets via standard camera phones. Officers take pictures of offenses, input additional data and upload them to the central system, where tickets are generated and issued to offenders by SMS or email.
The application is based on Vipera technology and runs on the Vipera Mobile Applications Network. It was implemented by the General Department of Electronics Services of Dubai Police in collaboration with the General Department of Traffic.For more information:
